Surprise Surprise! Maybe a couple of blocks from Wyatt street in Waxahachie a drug deal goes bad. It's like Waxahachie has decided that they will keep the drugs in the predominantly Black neighborhoods and the Black Folk don't seem to give a rats ass what happens to their community.

A plan to purchase drugs went awry this week when the buyer, a 33-year-old Waxahachie woman, was punched in the face, according to police.

“She reports that the suspect had driven her to a residence in the 200 block of Parks Schoolhouse Road to purchase drugs,” Waxahachie detective Sgt. Todd Woodruff said, noting the man and woman are acquaintances.

So somebody on the 200 block of Parks Schoolhouse road is dealing dope. I guess the only gleam of hope is that somebody at the 100 block of Parks Schoolhouse road actually aided the drug head lady victim.

Of course the horrible St Patrick's Day murder has darkened Ennis, Texas but maybe the recent busts were in response and a turn around for the city. I know that they always say the investigations were 2 years long so it couldn't be directly related to the murder. But the fact the decision to take the suspects down in the same emotional time may have been a message. I have heard many stories from people who I recognize were not there but I feel like their stories have some truth to them. Even the survivors probably can't exactly get the story straight. But from what I have unofficially gathered, early morning of March 17, 2008 three friends were driving around looking to make a drug buy. Apparently on Denton street where it meets Kaufman there was is a white house that cars would pull in front to meet other cars to make deals. On this night the three friends were going to try to scam the dealer by putting a hundred dollar bill outside of play money and fold it up to look like wad of real money. Well they drove up probably rolled the window down just enough to pass the money and the dope. As the transaction was made I'm thinking that the dealer was already suspicious of the three friends trying to pull one over on the dealer. It didn't take long for the dealer to see he had been taken. The dealer fired a shot a the passenger. The bullet grazes the passenger's arm tumbles into the drivers body. The friend in the back is unhurt but i imagine freaking out. The driver knows he is hurt bad and ask to be taken home on Milam street. He probably died on the way there. I have heard that the dealer drove off but never on what kind of car. It was probably really dark. I have heard that the old tire shop owners own a business of Decatur one block south and is said to may have been the source of the drugs. I don't think there is any proof of this. There was an early theory that the shooting was over a Flat screen TV stolen. I have heard that there was a stolen TV from Liska road but it was not by the man who was murdered. Hopefully the case will be solved but I have doubts unless someone confesses!

What the hell? ABC Tires has a for sale sign on it. Could Erisman have brought an end to the Castillo reign? I doubt it. But for sure there were no cars and a for sale sign in the right away area. Also drove over behind a Big E tires and I saw the little storage building that is 202 s Breckenridge.

Wouldn't we like to know what Teresa was hiding in that place? Yes if my sources are right Teresa is Ernest Sr's wife and Ernest JR's Mother. So did they get JR and/or SR? JR is shown to own ABC and it is shut down. I know for a fact that Ennis PD was training to find DTO's and their money movement. Looks like they may have gotten the job done!

Word has it that JR is selling ABC abd has opened a car sales business on Kaufman near the Blue Beacon. So maybe he is keeping it clean or realized it's time for a change.

Also I have heard from sources that a couple of the indicted had been drawing attention to themselves by spending money. Namely Renee Castillo. Apparently he had recently purchased a Hummer and another fella a new truck. Extravagant spending is a no no in the Drug business!

Law Enforcement Keeps on bringing body blows to Ellis County Drug Traffic

This might be part of the big bust(s)coming that I've been hearing from sources. Ennis PD is getting specific training from DEA to get to the Bigger dealers. I know people don't believe that but I do. Grand sweeping busts to get the poison out of Ennis. Drug dealers have been getting to complacent in Ennis. When LE starts finding the money moves it's all over. And apparently money/drug movement was found because they are seizing land property.

"The indictment also includes a forfeiture, which, upon conviction, will require the defendants to forfeit three parcels of real property located on Liska Road in Ennis and one parcel of real property located on Brown Street in Ennis."-WDL

I believe the infamous Castillos own property in all those areas.

I looked up all the indicted 8 on ECAD to see if they owned property in Ellis County. I found something interesting. Only one of the indicted (alleged) drug dealers owned property in Ellis County, Teresa Castillo. One of her properties is on Liska rd (that road must have a different kind of traffic) near Ensign. Castillo SR also owns two lots on a Liska near the bypass. The other property owned by Teresa is on S Breckenridge road. But guess who Teresa's Breckenridge property backs up to? 201 e Brown street, Big E Tires, SR's property.
(I believe the map listing N Breckenridge is wrong should be South)

So I don't know if the paper got it wrong and the property that is going to be seized is 202 S Breckenridge st or 201 e Brown street (Big E). If it was Big E you'd think they would indict SR. If it was 202 S Breckenridge that would make more sense because they are indicting Teresa. Who knows? Also noticed that next to Teresa's property on Liska is a property owned with the last name Hodges. One of the indicted is Will Hodges. Coincidence?

Well I saw Big E tire today and it looked like business as usual. They didn't seem to worried. I guess will find out.

The WDL says the "defendants conspired to possess with intent to distribute and distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine." According to the DEA web-site cocaine's current street value is $118.70 per pure gram. So they were planning to turn those 500 grams into 60 grand.

"DALLAS — Mexican tour bus companies driving in and out of Dallas sometimes carried more than just passengers, federal agents said Wednesday afternoon. Some of the buses smuggled cocaine and marijuana into North Texas from Monterrey, Mexico."

These bus owners designed their buses to have hidden secret compartments in the buses. "Dallas, Houston, Joliet, Illinois and Allentown, Pennsylvania, among other places" were the destinations of the drug.

"The indictment alleges the defendants charged from $500 to $7,000 per kilo of cocaine, depending on which U.S. city it was bound for."

"The buses would reportedly return from Dallas to Monterrey with the cash profits from the drug sales also hidden inside the coaches."

Leg Identified as George Lee Frazier

Now we have Mr Frazier's body parts found at Bardwell Lake and Lake Richland Chambers. To prolong the investigation? I would think the criminal(s) would have known such a thing as DNA? No word if the wife is a suspect but rumor mill says so. Did somebody stumble on the remains at Richland Chambers or were authorities led to the human remains? If so by whom?

“We’re still doing some testing on the remains and are following up with additional aspects of this investigation,” Hopson said.

The head and upper torso was found at 214 Lincoln Drive by the property owner's landscaping crew on Lake Richland Chambers. The same trash bags were used as in the Lake Bardwell leg. Other bags were found around Bardwell Lake but no body parts were found in them. Still no suspects named. Detective Hopson did say

"DNA from Frazier’s home was used to identify the leg."

I'm assuming to make a match or was there crime DNA evidence in the house? Another revealing discovery was that the Leg was found "On March 1" by "a group of boaters." "on the shore of Lake Bardwell along with a black plastic bag." So it may have been thrown in the water but washed ashore. It appears both locations of body parts were washed ashore.

Local Bars drug trafficking?

Friday and Saturday nights everybody wants to go to their local watering hole and have a good time. A few beers, some good music, and some good'ol social activity. Along with the good time comes a small percentage of high testosterone and over indulgence in the spirits. This can all lead to fights and scuffles and 86's. But it's probably no secret that many bars become vehicles for drug trafficking. Now it may not be the folks running the bar but dealers show up knowing people are ready to get high. Now even if there is drug trafficking at the local club or bar I feel it is a small group of people not the majority. What is most worrisome is the drugs like meth. Dealers or even friends encouraging a non drug user to try meth while the are slightly inebriated could ruin a whole life.

I have recently heard of a meth dealer who was actually part owner of a bar. A particular bar in Ennis, Texas was once ran partly by an Angel Rodriguez. A guy who everybody seemed to like and he liked to throw his money around. Apparently through sources his Dad had money (I'm not going to speculate how his Dad got money) and helped him get the bar. I knew the guy who ran the bar before Angel and he seemed to be more a family guy -low key. But the second pair of owners bar created more aggressive party feel to it. For example after hour open bar partys. I ran into a few guys who at this time that either worked for Angel or were barflies. One particular fella had a short temper and a desperate need for money. Symptoms of a meth head is what I'm trying to say. Not sure who was the C0-owner of the bar with Angel.

What brought the subject to my mind is just talking to people who use to party at the bar. I have never been told anyone saw drugs exchange at this particular bar and I believe it is no longer associated with Angel in any way. But it seemed to be a well accepted fact that he deatl meth and ecstasy and at private party's of his it is said these drugs were offered and used. I am told the same Angel Rodriguez is the fella named in the US Department of Justice media release as one of the eight Co-Conspirators in the JOHN ARREDONDO METHAMPHETAMINE DISTRIBUTION CASE and won't be around for awhile.

Co-defendant Angel Rodriguez also received a lengthy sentence, having been sentenced in July by Judge Lindsay to 135 months (more than 11 years) in prison.

Arredondo admitted that beginning in April 2006, he and his co-conspirators were involved in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine to other members of the conspiracy for further distribution in Ellis County and elsewhere.

Friend of mine has been robbed twice in the last 6 months near Ovilla, Texas. Valuable and personal items. These thieves probably not any connections to drug trafficking but illegal drugs do account for at least 40-50% of crimes and probably a higher percentage in theft. CORSICANA, Texas (AP) – Nearly 200 people were charged with gambling after officers raided a cockfighting operation Saturday that included bleachers for spectators and even a concession stand, authorities said.

Officers seized $170,000 in cash, about 300 birds, several guns, drugs and enough alcohol to fill the back of a pickup, the Navarro County Sheriff's Department said Sunday.

The owner of the property was charged with felony cruelty to farm animals, according to the sheriff's department.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said it was the largest seizure of birds it had ever been involved with in Texas.

In a separate incident in Houston, 41 malnourished pit bulls were seized from a breeding operation. An animal-protection official said some had scars indicating that they had been used for fighting.

In Navarro County, officials said 32 officers from the sheriff's department and the Corsicana police SWAT team with search and arrest warrants raided the residence of Adolfo Gabriel Luna on Saturday evening.

Officers said there were 250 to 300 people present, mostly in an outbuilding that appeared built for the sole purpose of conducting chicken fights. Spectators had come from Oklahoma and Louisiana.

The sheriff's department said by 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, 196 people had pleaded guilty to gambling charges before a justice of the peace, who opened her court at the scene. Three assistant Navarro County district attorneys were on hand, the sheriff's department said.

Luna, 43, was taken to the county jail to await arraignment, authorities said.

Officers worked through the night, searching several buildings on the 30-acre property about four miles west of Emhouse, and authorities said further charges were possible. The town is about 50 miles south of Dallas.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said 343 chickens were taken from the facility and would be held until a March 24 hearing before the justice of the peace in Corsicana, who will decide their fate.

ENNIS – One man is dead and another shot after a reported drive-by shooting in Ennis early this morning.

Police said a call was received at about 3:43 a.m. from the 700 block of E. Milam St., with a woman saying her son had been shot.

Ambulances and police responded to the location, with 20-year-old Bobby Howell of Ennis, pronounced dead at the scene, Ennis police Lt. Ron Roark said.

Rumors abound about Human Leg at Lake Bardwell

Hearing all kinds of speculation and sources that should know something are just as speculative. I hear that the leg may not have been actually in the water. Maybe buried on land and a coyote dug it up. I hear that a family member of the potential victim did not pass a lie detector test. Heard it said that investigators could tell that a chain saw had been used to cut the person up. Yuck!!!! Rumors on the street say that they may have lived in a house near the High School on Ensign in a new edition. They believe they lived beyond their means.

Update: Another source says it is almost positive that the leg was not buried. In this person's opinion a chain saw was not used.

Human Leg found in Lake Bardwell a drug realted crime?

ENNIS – Police believe a human leg discovered March 1 at Lake Bardwell
could belong to a 42-year-old man reported missing Feb. 18.

Ellis County Sheriff's department found the leg and nobody has given a motive for the crime. Usually body's and body parts end up at Dowdy Ferry Road in the Trinity not Ellis County. Hopefully this is not a start of violent drug crimes in Ennis. Talking to many residents in Ennis I have yet to find anyone that knows this George Lee Frazier,42, who is believed to be the owner of the leg. I have talked to at least 20 different African American citizens of Ennis and half haven't even heard that a person was missing from Ennis and none know the guy. I speculate, and this is pure speculation, that Frazier is an outsider who has family in Ennis and recently moved here. Maybe to get away from his troubles. Then his troubles found him.

The Ellis County Observer has the story about a well known ,Ellis County Real Estate developer's son getting stabbed in a drug deal gone bad. Joe Rust just bought the banana boat property in Midlothian. Apparently since Midlothian is wet now he payed a big price for the property speculating , I imagine, that a competitive convienient store could go up across from the Exxon on 287 and Walnut Grove rd. Joey's argument is why was Joe Rust's son not named in the Waxahachie Daily Light article?

The incident occurred Nov. 6, with a 23-year-old Waxahachie man reporting to police he was stabbed in a drug deal gone awry.According to police, the victim said he was on Getzendaner Street trying to sell marijuana.

Chauncy Rochelle Gipson, 37, of Forney; Landrick Ramon Wilson, 34, of Terrell; and Michael Wayne Edwards, 34, of Dallas are in the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center on charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. Each could face five to 99 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

The Terrell Police Service narcotics unit and the U.S. Marshal's Service Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team assisted KCSO in arresting Gipson and Landrick.

Don't know if there are any connections to Ellis County but wouldn't be surprised if there was. Chauncy Rochelle Gipson is the Big Fish and crime must be a family tradition. On January 21 her 18 year old son, Lloyd Gipson of Forney, was shot in the foot during an attempted "burglary with intent to commit another felony."

During the Ellis County Drug round up, which happened about a year ago, many with drug warrants were rounded up State and Federal. This was all in an attempt by Ellis County Sheriff Ray Stewart to hit the Meth Heads hard a deal a mighty blow on the traffic.

In a combined effort, Special Agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Ennis Police, Ellis County Sheriff’s Officers and 14 other law enforcement agencies arrested more than 39 methamphetamine traffickers in Ellis County and Southern Dallas County. The arrests, which began at approximately 4:30 a.m., were the result of a nine-month investigation.
As of Friday evening, 30 suspects wanted on state warrants had been detained and five of the 14 wanted on federal charges are also in custody.
At least one other Ennis resident was arrested during the raid, but that name is being withheld as part of sealed federal indictments.

I believe the withheld name was Robert Castillo,39,who was eventually sentenced to 15 years, 10 months in prison after pleading guilty in March 07 to three counts of distribution of methamphetamine. article here Also Ernest “Buddy” Castillo III, 21, who was employed at, and his family owns and operates, the Big E Tire Shop facility here in Ennis was charged with delivery of a controlled substance.

Modus Operandi of the Elizondo organization

While google'n Juan Pablo Elizondo, I found an appeal to suppress drug evidence by MARIO OLVERA (One of Elizondo's cocaine traffickers.) Testimony by DEA Task Force Agent Tommy Hale gives us some insight into Elizondo organization.

Prior knolwedge of Elizondo's evidence.

The evidence at the suppression hearing established that
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Task Force agents learned through
investigating another known drug ring that Juan Pablo Elizondo
was a cocaine supplier. This led to wiretaps and surveillance on
the Elizondo organization, including Olvera, who was known to
frequent houses used by the organization. Based on wiretaps,
task force agents seized $254,000 in cash from a car driven by
persons associated with the Elizondo group just a few weeks
before Olvera’s arrest.

Agent Hale's experience leads him to belive Olvera is a trafficker and probably cause to search.

Agent Hale testified based on his substantial experience in interpreting
drug dealer code. Given that experience, combined with all the
other factors, particularly the prior knowledge that the Elizondo
organization distributed cocaine, the prior seizure of cash, the
use of Honda Accords, and the timing and sequence of the
telephone calls and activities leading up to Olvera’s arrest, the
district court did not err in concluding that the task force
agents had probable cause to believe that Olvera was transporting
cocaine.

What happened the day Mario Olvera got caught.

DEA Task Force Agent Tommy Hale had substantial experience
in intercepting wiretaps and interpreting code used by drug
dealers. On the date in question, agents intercepted a series of
telephone calls which indicated that a shipment of “60,” which
Hale interpreted to mean 60 kilograms of cocaine, was arriving in
three vehicles; that the vehicles were at a Days Inn; and that
Elizondo would send someone to get them. Olvera left one of the
Elizondo houses and went to the Days Inn, where agents saw him
get into one of three Honda Accords, a type of car commonly used by drug dealers. All three Accords left at the same time and
entered the interstate highway.

Interesting that Honda Accords were used to do the hauling. Unsuspecting? Good gas mileage? Dependable? Could find them used for under $10,000? I wonder where they would hide the cocaine? 60 kilograms if my calculations are right at todays' prices would be worth 7 million US dollars. Days Inn? Honda Accords not unusual at Days Inn? Makes me think twice when I see a Honda Accord on I-35 or I-45.

Pablo Rivera was ordered detained while pending trial by U.S. Magistrate Judge Irma C. Ramirez. Pablo was a fugitive until captured in Mexico this past September. In the case , U.S. v. Juan Pablo Elizondo, et al., 3:03 CR 188, 31 individuals including Pablo who were charged with various offenses.

The North Texas High Intensity Drug Trafficking Task Force began investigating the drug trafficking activities of Elizondo and other members of his organization in 2002. Elizondo, using a network of individuals to store, transport and distribute cocaine, supplied large amounts of cocaine to the Ellis County, Texas area, and to the Ardmore, Oklahoma area. Millions of dollars in U.S. currency, hundreds of kilograms of cocaine, and numerous weapons, including fully atuomatic assault weapons, were seized during the investigation.

While Elizondo is still a fugitive, other members of the organization have been convicted and have received substantial prison sentences. "For example: Virgilio Rosales and Gary Thomas were sentenced to life in prison, Martha Flores was sentenced to 292 months in prison, Roy Combs was sentenced to 296 months, MD Guillermo Garcia was sentenced to 360 months, and Jorge Martinez was sentenced to 292 months in prison."

Cocaine prices are up purity down.

Meth prices are up and purity is down also.

From January through June 2007, the average price per pure gram of all domestic methamphetamine purchases increased 37 per cent, from $141.72 to $194.25, while purity fell 24 per cent, from 57 per cent to 43 per cent.

Accordingly, 4,391 methamphetamine purchases recorded in STRIDE since April 2005 were analyzed. The analysis shows that Methamphetamine prices are up and purity is down, reflecting the same trend as with cocaine.

From January through June 2007, the average price per pure gram of all domestic cocaine purchases increased 24 per cent, from $95.89 to $118.70, while purity fell 11 per cent, from 67 per cent to 59 per cent.

In August 2007, the Executive Policy & Strategic Planning Staff (ADS), supported by the Statistical Services Section (FRS), analyzed 11,586 domestic cocaine purchases recorded in STRIDE* since April 2005 (523.4 kilograms, 356.6 kilograms pure). The results of this analysis show that since December 2006, cocaine prices have increased, while purity has declined.

Tickets For Marijuana

Recent Texas legislation passed to give law enforcement the option to write tickets for misdemeanor marijuana possession instead of jail is not being used by many counties. Only Travis county is utilizing this new legislation. The idea is to ease the jail overcrowding. Arguments can be made on both sides of this subject. Some think that this sends a bad message to our youth. Like Assistant District Attorney of Collin County Greg Davis said

"It may... lead some people to believe that drug use is no more serious than double parking. We don't want to send that message to potential drug users, particularly young people."

Ron Stretcher, the Dallas County's director of criminal justice says even though Dallas is not using the new law for writing tickets for misdemeanor marijuana possession doesn't mean they won't. Dallas jail overcrowding has been a definite problem. Stretcher says

"It's not about emptying the jail. It's about making sure that we have room in the jail for the people who need to be there,"

In Kentucky since 2005, Police Detectives are testing a new tracking tool called MethCheck on folks who exceed their purchases of sudafed.

"Under federal law, customers must show photo ID to buy pseudoephedrine, and the legal limit for purchases is 9 grams per month roughly the equivalent of two 15-dose boxes of 24-hour Claritin D, or three 10-dose boxes of Aleve Cold & Sinus, or six 24-dose boxes of Sudafed."

The system will email the info off of the persons State ID or DL plus the time and location of the purchase. Eventually they will be able to track a neighborhood of over the limit purchases. Meth makers recruit their neighbors to purchase the medicine. Their have been some concern by activist groups that people who prepare for their allergies will be wrongly observed. It is another sad note about how criminals create police systems that erodes the law abiding citizens freedoms.

ABC Tires Ennis, Texas

Every since I have talked to someone from Ennis, Texas they always act like it is common knowledge that either people who work at ABC Tires or the person(s) who own ABC Tires has something to do with drug dealing. This year the Tire Shop on E. Ennis avenue was successfully raided by the DEA and Ellis County. Two other places were raided but I don't know if their is a conncetion to the other places. The picture on the Ennis Daily News shows Ellis County Sheriff's department but I saw DEA agents at the scene.

I have had former officers tell me that drug raids are fairly regular on the business but I don't have any documented evidence of that. One officer said that they were awaiting to raid ABC Tires one time when the owner or an employee walked out and yelled something to the affect "I know your out there you can go ahead and come in" ABC getting picked on or a genuine DTO? Rumours have it that someone at EPD leaks the info to ABC Tires but it never has been proven. Chief Erisman is given credit for the March raids and prosecution of the Robert Castillo who got 15 years and 10 months prison sentence this year. Article here.

Back nearly a year ago DEA in cooperation with Ellis County broke down the Ellis County Meth rings. I believe Sheriff Stewart should be remembered for what he did for our community. Probably saved hundreds of teenagers lives.

METH ORGANIZATION EXCISED FROM ELLIS COUNTY
Multi-count Federal Indictment Names 14 Persons in Methamphetamine Organization

Special Agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) helped arrest more than 39 methamphetamine traffickers in Ellis County and Southern Dallas County this morning. The early-morning round-up stems from a joint nine-month investigation in which the DEA Mobile Enforcement Team (MET), the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office, and the Waxahachie Police Department, worked undercover to arrest major drug distributors. More than 100 law enforcement officers, beginning at 4:30 a.m. , conducted simultaneous raids to serve federal and state arrest warrants on people suspected of trafficking methamphetamine.

This month, a Federal Grand Jury for the Northern District of Texas returned indictments against 14 defendants. The Grand Jury for the State of Texas returned an additional 32 arrest warrants. One Federal search warrant and four state search warrants were issued. Many of those indicted have a violent history such as assault, robbery, and/or prior drug arrests. During undercover operations, Agents have observed suspects carrying firearms on several occasions and children have been present during some of the undercover purchases of narcotics. More than 8 pounds of methamphetamine, worth an estimated street value of $425,000, has been seized during the course of this investigation. Additionally, 115 grams of crack cocaine, 86 grams of ecstasy, and 17 firearms have been seized. Thirty-four (34) defendants had already been arrested prior to the start of the round-up this morning.

“Federal and local law enforcement have come together in an unprecedented way to strategically attack meth problems in Ellis County . Today’s enforcement action effectively shut down a dangerous drug trafficking organization --- showing once again that law enforcement will not rest until our communities are safe and drug free,” said Richard Roper, U. S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas. Mr. Roper continued, “This case is an excellent example of the collaborative efforts of the federal government and local law enforcement to rid the streets of dangerous narcotics and related crimes.”

“The unified efforts we’ve experienced with our state and local counterparts have been phenomenal,” said James L. Capra, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA’s Dallas Division. “It is refreshing to realize that a combined passion for justice can rid a community of its worst blemishes.”

Amazing to see the amount of drugs and drug money seized through our highways in our communities. 1 million dollars in cash seized in North Texas in 2006. That is most likely a speck on the North Texas drug canvass.

Juan Pablo Elizondo was a big time cocaine dealer to Ellis County. He ran drugs from "Laredo, Texas, to Dallas, and into Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Ohio." Elizondo's organization was brought down in 2003 by the North Texas High Intensity Drug Trafficking Task Force but he is still a fugitive. The DEA article is here

CLOSED METH LABS BY DEA

The blue ballons represent meth labs closed by the DEA in or near Ellis County. Most were shut down in 2004. The one in Emhouse was shutdown in 2007.

Apparently 8 meth labs were closed in the Ellis County area in 2004 but none since. Since these are DEA statistics I don't know if that means that there are no more or just the DEA has not shut any down since 2004. Possibly Ellis County took over and has been handeling them. I have heard from sources that Sheriff Stewart of Ellis County works hand in hand with the DEA and has friends there. Which makes me wonder what might happen when he leaves. We need that kind of cooperation in the drug enforcement.
